Generative AI and automation:
The future as told at our event
with IBM and ATED

On September 26, 2024, we organized, together with IBM and ATED, the event “Automate to Grow: How Generative AI Redefines Your Business” at the Asilo Ciani in Lugano.

It was an evening that brought together professionals, businesses, and innovators with a common goal: to understand how generative AI and automation can concretely transform business processes, improve efficiency, and open up new growth opportunities.

The interventions and key moments

The evening opened with greetings from our CEO Paolo Caudana, who introduced the central theme: how generative artificial intelligence is moving from experimentation to real-world application in businesses.

Matthias Warkentin (Technical Sales, IBM) offered a concrete vision of how AI is already transforming process automation, demonstrating practical examples and new opportunities for businesses.

A particularly significant moment was the speech by Alberto Salerno (Cornèr Banca), who shared his experience with Best Computing, describing the benefits achieved by automation applied to internal processes.

Concluding the content section, Luca Mauriello (President, ATED) emphasized the fundamental role of the community, highlighting how digital maturity is a crucial element for fully exploiting the potential of AI.

The evening concluded with a Q&A session and a networking opportunity during the standing dinner, the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas and make new connections.
