Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager responsible for comprehensive project management and coordination between the client and the technical team, working according to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The role is part of an application project for a client in the financial sector, with high governance, compliance, and process control requirements.

Main Responsibilities 

• End-to-end application project management (scope, time, cost, quality)
• Project planning and management using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Coordination of the development team and stakeholders involved
• Gathering, analyzing, and formalizing functional requirements
• Organizing and facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Monitoring of project progress and prioritization
• Structured communication and reporting to the client
• Identification and mitigation of project risks
• Support for testing, release, and go-live phases
• Ensuring compliance with financial industry security and compliance standards

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
• Experience managing complex application projects
• In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Italian; good knowledge of English

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in finance
• Agile/Scrum or Project Management certifications
• Knowledge of security and compliance issues
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
• Residency in Switzerland (preferably Ticino) or immediate availability to relocate
• Valid work permit for Switzerland or EU citizenship
