Role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with solid experience in Linux environments and DevOps practices to contribute to the design, implementation, and management of application infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud.
This candidate will join the Infrastructure team for a client in the financial sector with stringent requirements for stability, security, compliance, and business continuity.

Main Responsibilities

• Management and administration of Linux systems (servers and application environments)
• Automating Operational Tasks Using Ansible
• Collaboration with the Software Architect in defining the infrastructure
• Support development teams for test, staging, and production environments
• Management and monitoring of application infrastructures
• Support for managing containerized environments (Docker)
• Implementation of DevOps best practices (Infrastructure as Code, automation, monitoring)
• Enforcement of security and compliance policies required by the financial sector
• Support for the application release and commissioning phases

Technical Skills

• At least 4–6 years of experience in a Systems Engineer / DevOps role
• Solid experience in Linux environments (Red Hat, Ubuntu or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS or equivalent)
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker)
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience working in Agile contexts
• Excellent knowledge of Italian; good knowledge of technical English

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of networking and security in cloud environments
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
• Experience in finance, banking or regulation
• Linux, Cloud, or DevOps Certifications

Mandatory Requirements
